Phuket Events

There always seems to be something going on in Phuket.

There are the Thai traditional events such as the sedate Loi Kratong festival in late October/November, the spectacularly unbelievable vegetarian festival in September, and the manic Songkran on 13th April every year.

Phuket also plays host to a number of annual international sporting events: Sailing regattas, golf tournaments, triathlons, beach volleyball tournaments, football and even skateboarding.

Music is everywhere on the island, with far more live music at various venues than you could ever expect to find in the west, regular visits from acclaimed bands and the annual blues festival.

If comedy is your thing, then regular comedy nights in Phuket host hilarious stand-up comedians from around the world.

There will be somewhere on Phuket where Brits can celebrate Guy Fawkes' night, Americans can get together for Thanksgiving, Australians can watch the Melbourne Cup and the French can remember La Bastille.

There's bound to be something for you in Phuket!
